Saddleworth's Santa Fun Run
Saturday 1st December saw Saddleworth host to over 1,500 keep fit Santas for the annual 5Km “Santa Dash” event, together with Brass Bands, Morris Men a Carol concert and fireworks. Fireworks were sponsored by Mono for the third year running.
The event is organised by Saddleworth Round Table to raise money for local charities and saw over 500 extra Santas take part compared with last year. The growing event relies heavily on volunteers from the general public, herding Santas is a bit like herding cats
